Servo-hydraulic fatigue testing machine, EHF-E

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

The Shimadzu EHF-E servo-hydraulic testing machine is a standard bottom-actuator system intended for static, dynamic, and fatigue testing of materials and smaller components. Its servo-controlled hydraulic actuator generates cyclic forces and displacements to evaluate mechanical strength and fatigue life.

The actuator is installed at the bottom of the load frame. The system accommodates grips, extensometers, and environmental testing accessories. Available force ratings and actuator strokes vary by model and should be checked for the selected configuration.

Features

  • Servo-hydraulic drive for cyclic and static testing.
  • Force and actuator-stroke control.
  • Programmable cyclic loading waveforms.
  • Compatibility with appropriate grips and measuring accessories.
  • Applications in materials science, engineering, and laboratory quality control.
