Description
The Shimadzu ICPMS-2050 ICP mass spectrometer is a high-sensitivity quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry system designed for multielement analysis, including samples with complex matrices and spectral interferences. Like the ICPMS-2040, it features the Mini-Torch System, a high-performance quadrupole mass filter, and gas-saving functions, while additionally supporting reaction-cell operation.
The ICPMS-2050 provides helium collision mode and hydrogen reaction mode. Reactions between gas and ions in the cell help reduce certain polyatomic and doubly charged interferences, enabling sensitive determination of target elements. An optional third-gas introduction unit also enables the use of a 10% ammonia / 90% helium mixture. High-speed cell gas purging, ProActive Rinsing, Extended Rinsing, and LabSolutions ICPMS software support efficient and reproducible analysis.
Features
- Helium collision mode and hydrogen reaction mode for expanded spectral interference reduction.
- Optional third-gas introduction unit for a 10% ammonia / 90% helium mixture.
