Universal testing machine, EZ Test

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

Shimadzu EZ Test universal testing machines are compact tabletop electromechanical systems for mechanical testing of small specimens and products under relatively low loads. With suitable fixtures, they can perform tensile, compression and bending tests on packaging, polymers, rubber, food and pharmaceutical materials.

Three versions are available: EZ-SX rated at 500 N, EZ-LX rated at 5 kN, and the high-speed EZ-LX HS rated at 2 kN. Different load cells can be selected, including sensors for low-force testing. Crosshead speed and dimensions depend on the version; compatible testing software can be used for result analysis.

Features

  • Three configurations with maximum capacities of 0.5, 5 and 2 kN.
  • Choice of load cells to match the test material.
  • High-precision or standard-precision force measurement class.
  • Test speed up to 2000 mm/min for the EZ-LX HS version.
  • Compact tabletop design for space-constrained laboratories.
