Description
Torsiometer with digital control of the latest design for right and left twisting tests up to breakage. The monolithic construction with precision guides and ball screw transmission ensures accuracy and stability. Two configurations are available: with one load sensor or with a turret equipped with three stationary sensors ready for operation. The device includes a computer with a touch screen for running programs. The system with a new 16-bit microcontroller operates across multiple control boards for axes, touch sensors, and load sensors connected via Canbus. Forced movements and positioning are performed with a 1000 Hz feedback rate. The sensor is read 1000 times per second with a resolution of 32,700 divisions. Available in tabletop and self-supporting floor models.
Ease of operation
Tests can be performed using two buttons on the front panel without referring to pre-set programs, or by launching the program from the touch screen, which can be used even with gloves in industrial environments. Up to three always-ready load sensors can be mounted on the turret head. Sensor selection is performed through the program.
Ease of programming
The device features three operating modes: manual, semi-automatic, and automatic. Programming is carried out using a multilingual Windows XP-based software that is simple and intuitive. SPC (firmware control) is used to store and manage data. All tests are recorded on the hard disk (HDD), and SPC is directly interfaced with Excel for fully personalized reporting.
