Atomic emission spark spectrometer, PDA-MF

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

Desktop optical emission spectrometers

The spectrometers of this series are designed for rapid quantitative elemental analysis of solid metal samples and are widely used for quality control of finished products and incoming inspection of metals and alloys: cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals, as well as for verifying metal quality in mechanical engineering.

Depending on the application, users can choose between two models:

  • PDA-MF — optimized for the analysis of non-ferrous metals;
  • PDA-MF Plus — an advanced model capable of analyzing a wide range of samples, including both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The emission spectrometers are equipped with high-sensitivity CCD detectors, ensuring stable and precise measurements. With the latest software and an integrated database of alloys of various compositions, the devices can automatically identify samples of unknown composition, providing convenience and efficiency in operation.
