Atomic emission spark spectrometer, PDA-8000

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

High-resolution spark vacuum optical emission spectrometer

The PDA-8000 is designed for highly sensitive quantitative analysis of iron and steel, copper, aluminum alloys, and other solid metals. The device also enables detection of impurities, including carbon (C), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), and nitrogen (N).

Its excellent performance is achieved through a high-resolution thermostated vacuum monochromator based on the Paschen–Runge scheme and an excitation unit stabilized by discharge energy. This combination ensures outstanding precision in determining even trace element concentrations.

The included software enhances monitoring and maintenance capabilities, providing convenient control and extended operational support.

The PDA-8000 is also an energy-efficient model that significantly reduces power consumption while maintaining high stability and measurement accuracy.
