Molecular spectrophotometer UV-VIS-NIR of the UV-3600I PLUS range

Shimadzu (Japan)

Description

Highly sensitive spectrophotometers for operation in the UV, visible, and near-IR ranges.

The UV-3600i Plus and UV-3600 Plus spectrophotometers are designed for use in the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions of the spectrum. They are characterized by exceptional sensitivity, high resolution, and an ultra-low level of stray light. Their wide spectral range — up to 3300 nm — enables precise determination of optical properties of various types of samples including solids, powders, wafers, films, and liquids. Applications include band-gap analysis, coating evaluation, and optical component characterization.

The high-performance optical system, built on two consecutive monochromators, achieves extremely low stray light levels (maximum 0.00005 % at 340 nm) while maintaining high resolution (0.1 nm). The wide spectral range from 185 to 3300 nm allows measurements not only in the UV and visible regions but also in the near-IR range, providing expanded analytical capabilities for research and material evaluation.
