Microhardness tester for determination of Vickers hardness, WIKI 90 JS

ATI (Italy)

Description

Wiki 90 JS is a versatile microhardness tester for Vickers and Knoop testing methods with test loads from 0.001 to 62.5 kgf. The device is suitable for micro and macro Vickers, Knoop, and Brinell hardness measurements, fully compliant with ASTM and ISO standards.

The tester features strain gauge technology, a high-resolution camera for automatic indentation reading, and a motorized 6-position turret. Testing is extremely simple: load the sample and click START — the instrument automatically indents, positions, measures, and generates results dynamically.

Case hardness depth (CHD) can be determined semi-automatically using the 1 µm step XY table connected to a PC, with a guided step-by-step procedure.

Applications:

For micro and macro Vickers and CHD testing on all metals — iron, steel, hardened steel, cast iron, brass, aluminum, copper, and alloys. Suitable for heat treatment, hardening, nitriding, carburizing, and surfacing. The Knoop test is ideal for ceramic and glass materials.
